Here’s a news I found about Tiger Woods…

Tiger Woods praises ‘fantastically consistent’ Luke Donald

Abu Dhabi: Golfing superstar Tiger Woods has told Gulf News who he believes will be the players he has to beat if he is to have a successful 2012.

The 36-year-old 14-time Major winner has suffered with injuries and a lack of form for the last couple of years, but hinted at something like a return to his best when winning the Chevron World Challenge in California in early December.

Woods will be in the UAE to compete in the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship from January 26 to 29 as he bids to get the new year off to a good start.

But he will have to beat the new guard of golf, including current world No 1 and US and Europe’s top earner last year, Luke Donald.

“There are a lot of golfers who have had a great couple of years and many young guys who will be looking to keep us older guys at bay,” Woods told Gulf News.

“Luke Donald has been fantastically consistent and obviously Rory McIlroy, Martin Kaymer and Lee Westwood will be looking to build on all they’ve achieved. Ryo Ishikawa is another young player I like a lot.”
